CONQUEROR'S BLADE ADDS GLADIATOR-INSPIRED COLOSSEUM MODE
The latest Season introduces an arena-based PvP mode, new units, rewards, and more
Booming Tech recently launched the new Season of Conqueror’s Blade, a medieval tactical action MMO. The free content update brings a brand-new game mode—Colosseum—along with new gladiator units, and a Campaign inspired by Ancient Rome and its legendary gladiators.
Players can now experience the brand-new Colosseum Mode, where two teams of six must control zones to claim dominion over the arena. Players can deploy Units and artillery to drain enemy teams’ points, capture their flags, and win the fight. Mastery over units, heroes’ many weapon classes, and the battlefield will be key to victory in this mode. Though players cannot command Cavalry units in the Colosseum, they can fight and recruit gladiators for extra manpower!
Three new types of units are also available to recruit via new Unit Challenges throughout the Season: the Dimachaeri (3-Star) wield two blades and attack with powerful leaping strikes, the Myrmillones (4-Star) use their swords and shields to knock back foes with ease, and the Retiarii (5-Star) fight with javelin charges to inflict marks of death, sealing enemies’ fates and all but assuring victory.
The new Seasonal Campaign sees Emperor Hadrianus—a ruler whose power and favour is waning—reinstate the Gladiator Games to entertain the people of Reginopolis. However, when a mysterious and powerful new faction rises from the shadows to prey on his weakness, a labyrinthine conspiracy is set in motion against him. Weekly challenges throughout the Campaign offer players the opportunity to participate in the Gladiator Games and rise to glory in the Colosseum, as a darker tale unfolds.
As players complete challenges, they can also rise through the ranks of the Battle Pass to obtain free and premium rewards, many exclusive to the latest Season. A new Emote and useful consumables are available to unlock at no extra cost, while the premium Battle Pass features armour for Heroes, Units, Mounts, and comes along with the mighty Gladiator Champion armour as a bonus. Heroes who endure the trials of the Gladiator Games and reach Tier 100 can suit up in Centurion armour, based on the elite garb of military commanders from the Roman Empire.
