Conqueror’s Blade: Scorpio Launches November 24
New Persian Themed Season takes medieval tactical action MMO into a war of assassins.
The new Season of Conqueror’s Blade from Booming Tech was announced today, launching as a free update on November 24th. The Scorpio season brings the medieval tactical action MMO to a new land and types of warfare inspired by ancient Persia. New units, seasonal campaigns and map revamps are launching on November 24th with the new weapon class being launched on December 8th. A new cinematic trailer shows the new weapon and units in action whilst they conduct a vicious assassination on an enemy commander.
New Weapon Class: Chain Dart & Scimitar
The Scorpio season lends its name from the new weapon class. With the Chain Dart & Scimitar, the thirteenth Weapon Class in Conqueror’s Blade, and the only weapon of choice for a true assassin. Hook enemies into a devastating attack, and deploy a smoke bomb to retreat to safety and plan your next hit. The Chain Dart & Scimitar will be available shortly after launch of the season, players can unlock it from December 8 via new Weapon Challenges.
The new season also sees the debut of a new set of followers inspired by ancient Persian factions:
- Jangjus (3-Star): This unit specializes in melee and close-range combat, using scimitars and throwing knives. They fight fearlessly in the face of an unstoppable enemy army with unshakeable bravery.
- Camel Lancers (4-Star): An elite cavalry unit seen as a symbol of military might. Though their speed may not match horses, their stamina is unrivaled.
- Hashashins (5-Star): Dangerous, elusive, determined. The Hashashins are trained in agility and stealth, allowing them to sneak attack any foe with their guard down.
In addition to the new weapon class and units, this season also sees the continuation of the renewal of the maps in the game. Two fan-favorite maps: Kurak Castle and Reginopolis, have been revamped with new features to make them more engaging to battle over. A new Seasonal Campaign is also kicking off, Players can start their quest in the Borderlands or Anadolou, and play every week to secure their standing. By Battling in twice-weekly Territory Wars with their House and completing Stages, players can prepare for the final fight in Daicheng at the end of the Season. Territory War scoring was also updated, rewarding players with rewards that are matched to their performance in matches. Being a skillful general and warrior is now more important than ever.
Conqueror’s Blade is free to download from the official website or via Steam. The new Scorpio season launches on November 24th with the new weapon being available from December 8.
